    Default Car not turning over

Recently had my car turning over but not starting due to battery being flat.. I've taken it out and charged it but now it just clicks and not turns over. I've even tried a brand new battery and it still does the same thing.

Nothing has changed, I've literally removed the battery and refitted it..

    Help!

Update.. I have full power to everything, lights, wipers, horn, etc. It's the starter motor clicking, but not turning over. So could my starter just have randomly packed up all of a sudden?

Could be sticking. Give it a tap with a hammer see if it helps.

Could be stuck, had it happen on novas before, stick it in gear, handbrake off and rock it back and forward a bit. May find that's all it is. Had exact same thing happen before. If not then it's probably starter

To be perfectly honest, nothing is in good condition

I've recently taken ownership and the car is going to be getting a good overhaul after being sat around for a couple of years.

I've had it running, poorly, but running.. Went to start it up to see if it's sorted and battery was too low to get it going, and now all of a sudden I Jus get a click from the starter and not turning over.. I tried the hammer tap and still nothing, so I'm guessing the starter has decided its had enough of life.

You need to hold the key like your trying to start it then hit the starter so a 2 person job or run a trigger wire from the battery so you can do it from the engine bay
