Default Mbe 967 coolant temp problems

hi there I have vx xe fitted with jenvey mt bodies and mbe 967 ecu
now when I connect ecu to computer coolant temp constantly reads 90 only way I can get the value to change is by adjusting the default values
now I have tryed vx coolant sensor x3 and also cosworth temp sensor no change in value stays the same if plugged in our not but when unplugged the air temp jumps up to default 25 and also if I unplug the air temp our coolant temp it adjusts the tps value

tests I have performed are tested wire from pin 2 to coolant plug
tested other wire on coolant plug for earth which it has with ignition on I get 6v at coolant plug if I fit sensor the to plug and warm sensor with a lighter the voltage will slowly drop down to less then 1 volt .
But the dam ecu if not receiving our something .
I am new to the standalone Ecus but I have good back ground on standard car management systems but I can not bottom this one could I have a faulty tps sensor ? Is the tps air and ten sensor connected
any help be much appreciated I will even pay if some one local could fix the thing just want to get the car on the road thanks
