    Default Cv grease question

Hi guys I'm rebuilding my driveshafts, I'm reusing my old cv's. I need to know how much grease to put back in. I cleaned out most of the old stuff but a little remains, the new boots did come with the little packet you sometimes get.

Also do people still use jubilee clips on the boots or the new style bands that you pinch together??

    cheers Richard

Fill the joint with grease prior to fitting make sure it's pushed right in, the shaft will force it into the joint once it goes in, I then usually add a little more before I put the boot on.

Proper pinch type cv boot clips are the way to go aswell, cheap and hold up Well, can be fiddly to do without the proper tool
