    Default Headlight wiring

Can I take the wiring from my driver side headlight over to the passenger side as a temporary measure with out damaging anything?

Presently my SR is not lighting up the passeneger light, it is not earths, light switch or relay as all have been checked/exchanged. I assume it is either a broken wire or fuse box connection but need to be able to drive as it is my daily.

The better option IMO would be to use the working side as a signal feed on a relay that powers a circuit from the battery for both headlights

    ^ agreed

If i remember there is a scotch lock connector tucked under the slam panel which acts as a common between both sides of the loom for the headlights. Have you checked this?

Aren't they fused separately? Have you checked all fuses?

Turns out it was the earth wire after all, re-earthed it and it's fine. I changed each wire one at a time to work out which was at fault, it was the brown one, couldn't figure out the three page wiring in diagram in Haynes so just took a chance that brown was earth. Thanks for the advice and help though!
