    Most people just do them.them.self pritty easy to do with minimal mods

    They're not hard, 1.0 is a bit of work as lots of parts can't be used and it only has 1 fuel line. My saloon is a 1.0 she'll with a c20let fitted

    The power of the 2.0 can sometimes pull the spot welds apart, some people say its not needed on a clean shell, some say stitch welding is sufficient and others fit the plating kits. Better to be safe then sorry I say.

    I have ran a few at standard power without any welding and they have been fine . If your engine bay is clean I wouldnt bother but it it wants painting anyway then you might aswell stitch weld it . Its only realy the front legs and x member that fail
