    Our enthusiasm for the little hatch doesn't make them a collectable. I think the Fords would be a better investment too I'm afraid!

    It's Outrageous money for a Nova.

    Try explaining to a stranger why you paid 24k for a wonky old hatchback with brown seats and a few stickers!

    Lets not forget it is an auction so either someone or some people are happy to to pay that for it.

    I wouldn't myself but some people have a lot of disposable income, some of these obviously love Nova's

    Is it not the same as explaining to someone why you would buy an old Sierra with a whale tail for 50k +? Both have rally heritage and both in standard form are mundane daily drivers?

    I see where you are coming from but I think it can apply to any of the obscene prices that old 80s / 90s stuff is going for now.

    Yes pretty much the same. There will still be people out there who enjoy driving (or owning) all of them.
