    Default Back in the Game

Spluttering all sorted, set fuel pressure back to 2.5 at idle with vacuum hose off, cleaned ICV, ran fuel through the filter and emptied a few times and then stuck new filter on.
    All sorted!

Steering wheel was wonky to the right, boss off, put back on, now it sits to the left

Choke light wired up to ECU wires too.

Just need to get the tracking done and swap the wheels over ready for BHP show

First outing yesterday to BHP show in Kent, made the journey without issue and got some appreciation on the way down too!

    Default Back in the Game

Few recent pics, few little mods to do.
Throttle Decided on the way home to keep sticking open if I dropped the clutch, not investigated why yet....

Finally got a cage, it’s a rollcentre one..... plan on adding a removable diagonal or Xbrace then having it powder coated, thinking silver/grey or red

Also the tint film on the rear lights had gone pink so stripped it off and quite liked the clears

So fitted the better quality ones with the coloured lenses inside

So we moved house start of August and the car now has it’s own home finally.

Sourced some SR seats, and the stripes match the stock merit rears.

Fitted a early SFI box to replace the power cap

Went to my mates garage to replace CV joints and give the car a once over on the ramp, found out the source of the metal on metal noise I was getting, the CV was pushed against the hub carrier, (wrong cv and no spacer), had worn a groove in the hub carrier!
So new CVs, knocked of the ABS rings and fitted a spacer each side, new bearings etc and it feels faster now too!!!

Was planning on going to OhSoRetro so dragged her out and gave her a clean but the weather was crap so swerved it.

Re fitted stock rear lights and will be fitting the amber side repeaters again, along with the 1.2 Merit badges but on magnets so I can remove them too.

Will also be having another box added to the powerflow system to quieten it down a bit and hopefully kill some of the rasp, will be changing the tip to a downward turned one like in this pic

Final update I’ve got a chipped ECU coming

Looking good man, red is definitely red here.

Didnt know the potential of an xe til recently, what kind of increase will you see with the new ecu?

Guy I got it off had his dyno’d at 178 which is about what my last one made too but this is Defo a better engine.
Fitted it and took her out, transforms the car!

LSD defo needed now, which funnily I’ve bought ready to go in over the winter with some reprofilled cams from Newman
