Default Mk1 or Mk2 front end?

I stuffed my Nova rally car at the weekend. It needs a new front end, including wings, bonnet, lights, etc. It has been a Mk1 for the last few years but I'm struggling to get a Mk1 plastic bumper (SR or GTE) so was thinking I should convert to Mk2 to use any plastic front bumper.
Just as a bit of fun what should I do?

If you mk2 it then you'll have more greif with the headlights

I prefer the mk2 front but it's upto personal choice or you could use mk1 front but fit mk2 bumper I've seen that done

That's what I have now, the only problem is the mk1 grill is jammed hard against the mk2 bumper.

The photo is what it looked like before it was stuffed, mk1 front with mk2 bumper. Doesn't show it that well but the grill is hard up against the bumper.

I'd get an Sr/gte bumper on there as they are not to hard to get hold of.

Very valid point on headlight availability, mk1 is ten a penny and mk2 is reasonably scarce.

Also you can use mk2 wings and chop the surround off if you're struggling

Keep it mk1 IMO, optionally mk2 bumper.
