Pulling my hair out.

Hi all.
Really struggling with my e16se. I've put one in my grasser and cannot get it running. It came out of a running nova and has gone into my corsa. The look was a right mess when I got it so have cut the melted wires out of it and replaced them with new ones. The only 4 wires that I had to connect was ignitin live live rev counter and fuel pump. I have connected all these bar the Rev counter. We have a spark and thought we had fuel. I have checked the injectors and all click when 12v is put across them. But we still don't have an engine that fires it just turns over.

Does anyone one have any ideas what could be wrong.

Fuel pump working?

Have you wired it up to trigger the pump via the fuel relay?

Yes the fuel pump is wired up correctly
