I paid £180 for my e16se with B+ big valve head and gear box... that was about 10 years ago...maybe more.

Think i only paid about 100 for Riggys old E16 engine & gearbox about 10 years ago, surely inflation hasnt climbed that much since then
I had an engine off Andyracer back then too for about £50

Sold my old e16se for 750 ready to plum in and run, wasn't standard mind. Prices are going up as more people want to build factory cars
Grassing has played a bigger part.theres far more stockhatch novas and corsas running gte gsi motors than on the road.
Same goes for class twos,miles more than sr's and sports
