Some pictures of the rear end being constructed.

The rear arch is almost complete here, didnt take many pictures, but you get the idea ?

The picture makes it look a lot worse than it is, we fitted some pieces that come out and meet the wide arch when its on. Also to stop crap getting trapped in the fibreglass arch,

We also did away with the filler hole.

    Inner arch

    Inside the van

    Some more...

We widened the bit where the bumper sits so it pushes the bumper out to meet the wide arch.

We will be making a start on the other side soon

Looks good, exactly how I'd do it. Loving the speed that this thing has come together, just wish I had as much time on mine.

This is great, a true build done at speed which is as quick as this little beast will be when done. Hats off to you on your skills and patience

Cheers lads for the comments, we haven t done much this week on the van, although some NOS GM saloon wings arrived.

They are shaped better for what we want to do with them, which is cut more of the arch away for clearance

We did make a start on the left rear arch.

We cut away and re-shaped what was in our way

    Rear inner arch looking in.

All trimmed ready to make good.

Lets put the wide arch on and see whats happening

We are hoping to get the majority of the welding finished next week

Still waiting for the radiator to arrive, then we can pipe it up, get it running, and have a blast down the yard.... ?
when the propshaft has been shortened obviously

Loving the arch work going in. The fiberglass arches are crapply shaped arnt they.
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi
    Far from suicidal
    Still I get them tendencies
    Bringing back them memories
That I really miss when I reminisce
