Amazingly fast commitment & welding looks really good. It can be difficult getting exact shapes into bumpers; would you consider spraying the intercooler dark grey?

Yes the intercooler will be getting painted dark grey same as the car.

We sort of dropped a bollock with the bumper

We started with a different intercooler to this, the inlet pipes were in the middle and we cut it out perfect, 5mm all way round.

Then we realised it wouldnt work and needed altering loads because of the radiator i had made.

So i had to buy another intercooler the same size and this was it.

Im getting a carbon bumper made so it will be a bit tighter round the intercooler.

    Cheers again

I have a load of photos but photobucket is down, and has been for a few days.

We managed to get the car fired up and running today

    Some more pictures...

Got the citroen ZX wiper motor fitted, need to wire it up.

We changed the evo 4 AYC hydraulic diff, for the evo 5 RS mechanical diff.

Its massive, heavy and prone to failure, its nearly 18 years old.

To fit the evo 5 rs diff, i had to change both drive shafts, and both carriers, so it all mounts up spot on

    Evo 5 rs diff

This is the evo 4 stuff that was swapped for the evo 5

A brace bar was made so the intercooler was solid top and bottom.

The propshaft that needs to go for shortening, now we have the diff fitted, we can get the measurement.

We fitted the tank and fuel lines, got some jumpleads on a battery, and got the engine running

You will have to believe me its running in this picture.

Got a K&N mounted as well
