Default omex rev limiter twin coil wiring c20xe

hi iv got a omex rev limiter twin coil as my c20xe has a 3 pin coil pack.
Iv come to wire it up today using the guide from the omex website. its not working right, I set the limit to the lowest it would go, it limits when the omex button isn't pressed but then when I hold the button it runs fine?
has anyone wired a twin coil one before? if so how did you do it?
    thanks

What did you set the launch rpm at? Surely it would ignore the regular rpm limit and limit at the launch setting with the button pressed?

Correct set the limit on the normal rpm you want then set the limit for launch i think you have set it up vise versa

Iv managed to get it working sort of. But when I set the rev limiter and hold the button it will rev up normal until I hit the limit set then it sounds like it misfires and doesn't hold at the rev limiter I set?

Sounds like my old OMEX. It would drive through the limiter while missing. OMEX fixed it but it would cut very harshly and spit flames.
