    Hi peeps
I bought a fibreglass tailgate and want to use the top hinges off my std one to mount it. Last time i tried to remove them they rounded. Any tips?

Could try a impact driver on them. They will be tight!

The bootlid side they're spot welded on. The car side they're bolted and will round as they're made of cheese.

Angle grinder or spot weld drill bit for the bootlid side. Drill for the car side.

I mean fitting the tailgate, modifying hinges etc, not just removal.
