    Sorry guys i would have not asked about this car if i knew some poor fella lost his life in it, the car should not be up for auction rip fella

    There is nothing in the salvage code of practice that states a car involved in a fatal must be classed as a Cat A and be crushed, it basically states that if the car is damaged to the extent it is not repairable but has parts that can be resold or recycled then it becomes a Cat B. It's basically up to the salvage operator and with Copart they will sell anything to anyone if it makes them a profit.
