Mk1 nova project

After stripping my sr c20let due to rot Iam using most of the parts on my merit to make a mint nova. The car was my daily until last week! I've took her off the road to sort bodywork and I've managed to sorce a e16se which iam rebuilding. Plans are to repair rear arches bits on front panel fit sr bumpers. This will be a slow going project due to not much time available.
Also parts to be fitted off the sr will be:
Rear window surrounds
Wrap around spoiler
Maybe gte skirts don't know yet.
Sr glass all round! Ect.

The rust is a bastard isnt it always same with novas rust from the inside out . You got a front panel pal?

Yes didn't think it would be that bad behind just goes to show . Not changing front panel as the rest is good. Made some patches to piece in then all will be good. Sr front bumper going on so won't be seen.

Here are the patches I made. Just some sheet steel I had lying around.

Offered up looks ok just need to weld it in now.

Heres a few of the good areas aound the car behind both front turrets.

Head is off fitted new oil pump and everything degreased and painted up will get some pics of that.
