Coolant pipe on twin weber

Hi guys
Got a 1.4 on twin webers. It came with no breather pipes on and the water pipe on the manifold blocked off.
I've now fitted a catch can which just leaves the coolant pipe, I feel it should be piped in somewhere for circulation, if so where to or can I just leave it blanked off. This engine is purely for racing if that makes any difference
