    Default Upol bumper paint mk 1 sr pics and info please

    I'm currently restoring my nova sr mk1 lazer blue and want to paint the bumpers grill etc in grey /dark grey . I've seen posts on here about upol bumper paint can anyone advise me on best colour and type to go for also if you could upload pictures of yours etc that would be brilliant.

    I would personally look at having a bodyshop prep and paint them a suitable matt finish.

    UPOL mid grey is nice enough, but expensive in tins and aerosol finish will never quite be as good or long lasting. Using the product made me feel like it's more designed for lightly blowing in scrapes rather than painting a whole trim piece.

    Ah I thought you would be able to get it in 2k tins to mix . I've spoke to body shop who's painting it apparently mipa do a textured bumper finish just need to find a decent grey . We're mk 1 sr light grey or more black as I don't know if mine were grey or have really faded

    This is upon mid gray, all I did is clean the bumpers and spray with a rattle can I did the mirrors and fuel cap so it all matched
