I might have the option to buy a calibra soon, a 4x4 turbo. What's there to look for on these when buying? I'd like to daily it for a while before it completes it's destiny of being year another donor car. But any usual rot point on these? I know it's not standard but not sure what's been done.

I used to own a calibra and had it for 3 years

I actually did love it,rear chassis legs,sills,rear spring mounts and the fuel lines rot constantly on them.it's an old vauxhall so pretty much anywhere will rot on them.

I'll focus on those areas when I go for another look, it's been sitting and the plan is if it don't need a lot I'll mot it and run her for a while, if she's rotten I'll buy and brake it but if she's just a bag of mess I'll leave it
