    Default C20xe bespoke wiring loom

Has anyone done one of these? My loom that came with my engine is pretty grubby and against a clean bay it's gonna look crap. Just looking to see where and how much if it has been done. Tia

It's not tough to rewire just and engine loom mate, at the end of the day, it's just wires from the ECU to sensors around the engine. More than doable.

Will strip tape off it and have a look. Cheers

I've re-wired my track car twice mate, it's easy enough, just trace and replace one wire at a time.

And as someone who hates wiring, making a new loom for a standard XE sounds mildly daunting and time consuming. If it's just dirty and working fine you might as well strip and re-cover.
