    Default My Corsa C VXR

OK so I know it's not a Nova but it's my daily driver and it's something a bit different so thought I'd share some pics.

Car is a 2005 Corsa C 1.4 SXI that I've fitted a Z16 turbo engine and M32 6 speed gearbox as fitted to the Corsa D VXR. It's running 308mm front brakes, 5 stud conversion including rear disc conversion, quaife diff plus plenty of other upgrades. It's been on the road for a couple of years now, finally got round to getting a few pictures to show everyone.

I just fancied building something different. At the time I could only find two others that had been done and they weren't completed and running GM management like mine. I also had all the parts i needed kicking about so thought I'd give it a go to see if it would all work.

Cheers Dar, long time no see. All being well it's being re-mapped next week so as long as it doesn't crack a piston which is pretty common on standard internals we should be looking at 230-240 BHP.

Love it - always had a soft spot for the C. Missus had an Sri for a few years and, despite the horrifically asthmatic engine, it drove well.

    Cheers for the comments guys.

So today the Corsa was on the dyno at Courtenay Sport for a re-map. Ridiculously hot day so probably down slightly on power especially with inlet temps rising to 60 degrees.

Stayed at a hotel the night before, parked the car over tight in a space out the way only to come out and find this Pratt parked next to me.
