    Default Small block gearbox ratios

    Iv got a small block gearbox but need to no if its CR or WR i no its from a 1.0 12v but i carnt make out what it says on the end casing its worn away is there any other way of telling on the box thanks

    y to be an f13 cr with a 3.94 fd (you can either count the teeth on the fd or look at the marks on the teeth tops as they mean something too

    count the second gear teeth on the big cog and the cog that meshes with it on the gear cluster divide the bigger number by the smaller number and u have ur ratio 2.14/2.13 is a cr and 1.96 is a wr the markings on the diff also tell u what diff you have, no notch is a 4.1 I think 2 notchs is a 4.3, 3 notchs is a 4.5, 4 notchs is a 3.7 and 4 notchs is a 3.9 altho I'm not 100% on that been a while since ive looked at anything other than a 4.1
