    Default Chassis leg repair

    Hi all,
I'm currently removing all the underseal from underneath my Nova and the short section of the front chassis leg underneath the passenger side footwell has been repaired previously with a flat plate.
My question is that the otherside is in good condition just slightly dinted from where it has been jacked up previously so do I replace this one with a flat plate to match the other or replace the passenger side with a part off another shell so it's back to standard or do I just leave them so they aren't matching?
The passenger one does need a couple of repairs doing in some parts where it joins to the longer section.
I hope this makes sense and if anyone has a chassis leg section for sale let me know please.
What's everyone's thoughts? If anyone has pictures that would be great.
    Thanks
    Phil

Got a pic of where you mean? I suppose it's depending on what you want if it's either original look throughout, or if it's not cosmetic then I'd be tempted to repair and plate.

I plated mine for the same reason. Both where dented in from jacking up.
Flat plates with shaped ends. Looks good and is stronger.

Thanks I've ended up flat plating it and I'm really happy with the results, I'll try and get some pictures up at some point.
    Thanks again

Plating them also keeps mud and crap out which rots them in the first place

Looks ideal, just make sure there's nowhere for water to get in there or it won't get out.

I wouldn't go to the effort of cutting legs off another car and welding 25 year old rusty metal back in.
