    Default Track weapon mk2

Hi to all think it's time I started a new thread of my all new nova track car building this with connor(conza123) and Colin pics coming soon

The shell im using is a bit known on here teddythom originally had it, heres it back in 2012

Then my mate purchased and decided to start converting it to a c20xe but then decided to sell so i ended it up with it

connor had purchased a spit so decided to borrow it to put mine on and start striping and welding

started off by chopping the fire wall out

then we chopped the slam panel out to make it unboltable like we did on my car

A few of the seams have been welded in the bay but not very well and the whole bay has be spray in undersealy stuff so purchased some paint stripped to remove that,
so started cleaning off some of the other seams to weld up and made a start on welding them

The best builds are those that include a spit, I really should invest in one, it makes getting underneath so much easier. You still going with the big block them?

well after buying one i dont what i would do with out it ha ha, its one of them things u dont realise how helpful and easy they till u have one, my dad has a bad neck to so i brought it mainly for him so he's putting car in his postion thats handy for him instead of putting his neck in a funny position to suit the car

Good shell prep so far. Is all the underseal coming off? My biggest regret is not getting a roll over rig.

Looks good. Spit is Defs the way to do it. What engine are you planning on using?

Looks like a solid shell to work from.

I'd definitly get a roll over spit if I ever did another nova. I must have spent hundreds of hours on my back uncomfortably working on mine and having scary moments with the angle grinder that could have been avoided with one.
