    Has it had a toe alignment/tracking since the arms were changed?

    Beat me to it, with all that stuff changed if you've not corrected the alignment that can make a car drive superbly or be outright dangerous under throttle.

    On the flipside, don't pay for alignment if you'll be replacing the rack shortly.

    , mot end of month so will get them to find the problem , been to see them this morning and said it sounds like its knackered but seems to be doing it job and no play in it, hope they find something when on ramps

    Inner track rods could be the issue. My nova turbo drove much better after changing them last year. Will be obvious to the mot guys once it's up in the air if so.

    I can't locate the knocking on my transit so next stage is to get tied underneath as it's driven over bumps
