Default C20xe kent cams and vernier pulleys

Hi all, im looking at doing a few bits to my XE this year, im looking at a second hand pair of kent cams AST1612 with duration of 260 deg...

I would like vernier pulleys as well but not sure which to go for without spending a huge fortune...

Has anyone used these cams or know wheres best to buy them? and what pulleys to get?

    Cheers
    Alex

I use those cams but got them second hand. However they come in two flavours don't they, reground originals or from blanks? Probably cheaper to get reground.

I used some pulleys again second hand, supposedly Kent. I prefer the look of the verniers with several bolts holding them together (6 or so). I thnk QED do some nice ones. I'm quite happy with my cams without verniers so depends if you're pushing for mega adjustment and every ounce of power.

Be careful with second hand cams as they could be useless if worn, and they don't need to have many Km on them to be worn out if installed badly in the original engine.

Really mild cam what still allows use of standard pistons, if you get the inlet flowing freely the revs will go on and on. Advancing the inlet cam beyond the Kent specs seems to work!
