Default Quick release / Snap off kits

Does anyone know of any quick release kits for less than £200 that are safe! Part of me does not trust the £30 ones on ebay...

At this rate I doubt il get one

    cheers

These ones can be had on ebay for £30. They look identical but I don't know if they are cheap knock offs or just the exact same ones without a hefty price tag added though

I was thinking of buying one myself, but don't want my steering wheel position any more forward than it already is so I haven't bothered.

I've got one of the old slim 'Snap-off' ones that is only a cm or two thick, done me proud for years.

Don't buy a knockoff copy of the Lifeline one. I can show you a video of the steering wheel coming off when a friend rolled his Clio.

Lifeline are good, Go Race are good, Brown & Geeson* OK. Avoid the rest.

They are all fine, right up to the point where they fail.

I have read some good reviews on the nrg 2.5 unit but its nearly 80mm i really want a weld on to try and bring that down a bit but again they are all so pricey!
