Default Vauxhall 2.0 8v powered starlet hotrod

New race car time and my first rwd, after always running novas, corsa's and tigras. Got offerd this cheap so had to have it, it was a stock rod originally running a vauxhall 1.4 8v so it's got the vauxhall engine mounts..

It's just had a full re panel, and paint job running on ford running gear.

Got an old c20ne in me barn I'm hoping to rebuild, got a newman cam with it aswell and run that on twin 40s. Don't wanna chuck loadsa money at it and not goin to rush it. It's goin to have a strip down new fuel lines, and wiring brakes and suspension will be coming apart and cleaning and greasing up aswell. Hope u enjoy.

#anyone with a type 9 with a vauxhall bell housing on I'm in need #

Interesting engine choice, what power output are you aiming for?

It's only goin to be racing round a quarter mile oval so anywhere around 140-160 in 2nd gear I'll be happy

    Very nice.
Remind me on the one we built for rallying in the early 000's, looked very similar to yours, rally folk didn't like us, and got thrown out of the event,.

My mum had one as a road car in the very early 80's.... as a road car, they were terrible and didn't sell that well...... I'm amazed the oval racers keep finding them.
