    Default Pedal bulkhead strengthening

Ok so standard set up is mounted to bulkhead, big bar going across, then same on passenger side.

I'm running a Corsa brake set up, so is the bulkhead metal work serving any purpose? Can it be binned?

Doesnt the dash mount to it in a couple of places? - I can't remember....if not then no it serves no other purpose

My modified mk2 dash certainly doesn't.

I did brace my old Corsa mechanism to it but hopefully won't have to with my re design.

It goes all the way across to around the clutch cable bracketry.

Dash doesnt attach to the pedals assembly at all!

Doesnt the clutch pedal hang of it though?

Clutch pedal has its own triangular shape that bolts to bulk head and above.

If youre not using it and it not attached to nothing then yeah you could get rid of it.
