I plan to spray the engine bay next week end. That then is pretty much all the front done. Just done the lower front panel today. All the underneath is done bar 2 coats of blue hammerite.
Then I can make a start on the rear wheel wells and back from that. Already have the axle out and started some stripping back some of the old underseal. The spare wheel well is pretty good and already had some work done on the rear chassis legs.
I need to tidy up the floor on the inside of the car, all holes are plugged just need more seam sealer and paint.

I have to be honest this isn't the best job in the world. Still a few flat spots and run out of lacquer but it's far better than it was. The engine will be covering most of this so not too worried.

So I picked up another can of lacquer today as I wasn't 100% happy with the finish. Now I discovered my spraying technique I managed to get a much better gloss finish.
What I have discovered tho is the colour of the car has faded so not as close in match than I had hoped. As I still have to repair the base of both wings and along the bottom edge of the sills I'm worried it will look different.
Reading up on the t-cuts/ clay bars will these really make a huge difference to the paint fade?

    Anyway updated pics
