The outer bodywork is in very good nick to be honest, haven't found a dent yet!! I do need to keep the costs down so most will be done by me, that's why I have given myself a realistic year to do it. I'm planning to clean the bay up while its empty.
still lots to source so will be begging and pleading as the year goes on!

With it having the zipper trim, doorcards and sunvisors to match, blue heater dials, a possible 1.3/1.4 engine from an SR it's pretty much gonna look like one. Only difference is the decals ( I did buy the rear Sr badge but now can sell it) and lower vinyls won't be present.
I have thought about doing the b-pillar vinyls but would have to get aftermarket ones for it. Along way down the road tho!

Side vinyl would look sexy though

So not a lot has really happened with the car as it's had to be moved out of the way for my new garage door. Have been collecting stuff for this tho. Just a few pictures of my new header tank and my windscreen washer which washed up well. Also been in touch with roose Motorsport to pick up a new hose to go with my top rad hose.

Also got myself a good carb tank to replace the injection one. Just having problems with one of the strap nuts which has no head on it so having to work out a way of getting it off!

Like the look of it mate, will be better than walking to the meets haha. i had the same issue on my sierras fuel tank, i cut the heads off with a hack saw, removed the tank then welded a nut on once the tank was gone

KSo I picked myself up a carb fuel tank so I could replace the injection one I thought the car was running but this is them both side by side (the carb one on the right and the one on the left was running the external electric pump)

The only real difference I see is the plastic ball and holder for the return is missing from my 'injection' one.I haven't yet checked the sender on my one to see if it's the same as the carb one. Do I assume it's a carb tank?

After a quick search it would seem the injection tank has a swirl pot affair internally around the feed. Whip the level sender out and have a look inside.
