I don't have one Will!! Had the boot one in the car but not been able to get one yet. I've ordered some sound deadening for the floor and I've also been thing about using carpet underlay to replace the original stuff.

    Electric Test Day!!

So a very positive day as I borrowed the battery from the corsa to test what I have fitted and repaired so far. Not everything like the headlights and front/side indicators are fitted so unable to test but so far these are the bits to fix:

Rear wiper relay clicking but not engaging the wiper motor
Front wipers dropping before wiping the screen
Rear fog light not switching on and switch not illuminating
Central locking relay clicking when motor engaged but not moving passenger solenoid.
Heater motor not switching on but switch illuminated

Picked this up today, looks better than the one I removed. Should just need the shoes replacing and a quick paint then it's closer to actually being on 4 wheels for the first time in 2 years.
Spent some time polishing up the rocker cover using a wire wheel and autosol (it was painted originally). This is the end result.

During this tho I had a freak accident and fractured my finger so has now slowed up the progress.

Spend a few hours the other night rebuilding the Weber. Got a full rebuild kit from fastroadcars plus re jetted to match my engine, worked out cheaper through their website rather than their eBay shop.

Also got the 1st coat of high temp blue paint on the block. With it being cold it's taken a while to dry, but so far happy with the colour. Much so il probably go back over the calipers as the hammerite didn't finish well.

So things are having to slow up over the next month as I had to have surgery last Thursday on the finger I broke a few weeks back and my whole hand is in a cast.
It hasn't stopped me tho as I managed to get the original Porto blue pinstripe fitted to my front and rear bumpers.

Have noticed a few of the clips that attach the bumper bar to the front bumper have seen better days and it keeps popping off, any suggestions on how to keep it in place?

May sound a bit cow boy but fit the bar to the bumper then cut some small blocks of wood / plastic and wedge it in between the two parts of the clip . Works and wont pop off again . Nothing worse than the bumper un clipping all the time.

May be worth trying. I thought about cable ties but there's nothing really to attach it to on the bumper

Thanks to Robert (yellownovasr) he managed to sort out this SR exhaust manifold for a great price. Just requires some rubbing back, maybe a paint and il plan on smoothing the ports too.
