    Default Mk2 Breeze Blue project

So after parting company with my mk1 in April I managed to persuade my wife to have one final Nova for my 30th this year. What I really wanted was a Mk2 SR in breeze blue but thought that would be impossible to find, which it is. But this came up for sale a few months back!
Its a 1993 merit+ but it's had the sills replaced, very good rolled rear arches, new wings, doors, tailgate and bonnet with Astra gte vents fitted too. Along with all this it had a full external respray around 4 years back in Vauxhall Breeze blue. It's in very good condition on the outside but most of the work will be underneath where there's a few dodgy batches plus cleaning up and colour matching the engine bay.
Its had its fair share of welding already done on it as it was running a xe before so it's strong in the important areas!
This is no overnight project as this was pretty much a rolling shell so needs a lot to complete it. It's currently in the garage so cannot get many pics but this is everything so far:

No more reps, just want it clean and the zipper trim was the best suit. The plan engine wise was 14nv bottom with 13sb head and cam. Already have top end stuff and a weber 32/34 dmtl carb. Also picked up a ramair filter for the weber as I had one on the previous which fitted well.

No not that bad, had plates already welded before but it's just around one of the drain holes, a plate under the drivers seat (already plated on the underside) and then the rear passenger footwell needs a small repair.
To be fair I cannot see this going anywhere this year, my build money is tied up in my other car which I cannot sell til the summer now as its needed to transport the family on a holiday.

Love that it has opening rear windows, also if you click the shape button on PB you can just copy and paste the IMG code over so just the photo shows up, rather than the screen shot. Even tho it's thrilling to see a 3 bar signal.

Thanks for the advice Benn. Sadly it doesn't have rear opening windows, may just be the picture angle. I do have most of it here to fit them tho but was deciding against it.

    EE, nice.

I do like a breeze blue Nova, they used to be really popular now never see them.

All the shiny bits do look nice, hopefully the rear arches have been done to a good standard. Plan to strip the bay and have it professionally painted to match?
