Default Different front seats - not from a Nova

Are there any other seats that will fit, or can be made to fit with minimal work, maybe from another Vauxhall?

I want to replace the front seats, not particularly looking to do a SR/GTE rep but want some better seats than come in a base model and then ideally re trim the rear to match.

Still need tilt function as 3dr and something that will work with brown dash and interior.

Did the calibra leather just fit straight in? Did the subframe need swapping to nova ones?

Need to use GTE or GSI sub frame. Fronts bolt in. But I fitted spacers to move seats slightly closer to the hand brake (on both seats) or they hit door pocket on mk2. Also sits you slightly more in front of the steering wheel.
Then weld the back to the sub frame.
the rear was quite a bit more work.
Use nova seat frame with calibra sponge cut down and re trimmed to the frame

No, i had the same seats (but in black) i cut off the bits that point up on the subframes, then bolted the seat bottom directly on to them.

But even like that i found the seats to sit high. My head was very close to the roof.
