Thanks! No, not new but a fairly good used lining and pillar vinyls. The quality is in the fitting and Mr S aka Novasport takes all that credit.

Yes I can't wait to have that nervous first drive but at the moment we are just trying to break the back of big or fiddly jobs. Aiming for a nice finish whilst making it a car to drive. It will be at VBOA 2017 which oddly is 25 years from when I sold it.

I always enjoy reading this thread. Such an excellent rebuild and the attention to detail is fantastic. This car was always meant to come back to you. Can't wait to see it finished next year. Well done.

Not loads to report hence a lack of updates and pics. Quite a few ongoing jobs to finish off such as headlining, wiring loom and brake lines. Started to make a proper list of things to do as it was getting a bit random at times.

Also waiting for a few little parts that are missing that hold things up. :-(

The build looks great on this, shame my finishing skills are not at your standard. Can I ask tho what dimensions your sound proofing tape was on your fuel tank?

Thank you - there are a few bits that niggle me but still better than when I first owned it in 1990!

Not sure about the tape as would need to dig it out. I have a fair bit left as well!

Brand new windscreen and seal fitted. Brand new front bumper (along with new mounting kit) also added. Oh, and roof lining finished, rear quarter glass in and a few other little bits.

Onwards - aiming for MOT, carb setup and decals at the end of March 2017!
