I had a pop at a 10x10 squat/lunge session last week, all was well for 2 days then boom, walking like john wayne for 2-3days
Think I'm gonna need some new toys at home to make some sensible sessions up as the winging it approach, while working a bit, isnt ideal I'm sure

Pre work out drinks? Are they worth it?

I've always thought it was just a big kick off caffeine. But got chatting to a guy at the gym who swears by them, says they have alot more good stuff in them these days..

    Any info?
All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi
    Far from suicidal
    Still I get them tendencies
    Bringing back them memories
That I really miss when I reminisce

Got sick of pissing about and with the competition dawning on me I attempted and succeeded with a 200kg deadlift, albeit a trap deadlift (and it was technically 201kg) there is more in me too (done a 220kg farmers walk so I know I can lift more) but I was sore after that as I have a mild injury.

Wow! That's amazing, well done. I've never done deadlifts. but would really like too.

Love dead lifts! The first few times I incorporated them into a session I ended up like Stuart, walking like John Wayne the next few days haha

I'm now upto 3x8 on 100kg, so progressing well

did a different leg day on monday, then went for a long walk to town and back monday evening and tuesday evening. No wobbly legs, yet I felt way more fucked after the session than the 10x10 :D

All light DB's (6-8Kg ) as I dont have a heavy set and I'm a fanny thus far.
    DB Squats
    Backward Lunge
    Forward Lunge
    "explosive jumps"
Some sort of stiff leg DB deadlift type thing
Managed 6 circuits of that before wanting to curl up and die
