    Did you just plaster over old plaster or re board it? Im
    guessing it's because of that.

    I always thought you get cracks when it dries out too quickly? An old school plasterer I think told me, whether it's true or not I don't know?

    Im not sure, plastering is one of the only jobs that I don't like doing. I've noticed with my house that the few places that I didn't plasterboard are showing a few small cracks and I've put it down to that. Everywhere else is totally fine.

    Applied a load of gripfil and screws into the noisy stairs. 13/14 steps, and only one makes noise anymore victory is mine.

    tomorrow is sanding and priming, along with putting holes in for wiring in ir beams for each step.
