Cheers nah just using a heat gun and a scraper. Tried nitromors on the door frames and wasn't working too well. I'll use it for the smaller bits that I can't get to.

    Braw looking good.

Just finished 11 months o hard graft hose was bad. One of my pals said the bathroom looked like a 70s caravan. Get an idea how bad it was.

I've noticed that the paints trippers have got wussier and also if you are attacking a waterbased paint, the stripper struggles to penetrate so you get the top layer off and then have to go at it again and again
    heat gun ftw... Or new

Made a start with this today, just the demolition part of it. Haven't actually bought the one we want yet.

Blocks the light out? Mines all walled in like that, stops all the light.

I layed new underlay and refitted the carpet in the hallway. Can't remember when it was last down, but its so nice now, quite, warmer and soft underfoot.

Yeah stairs were quite dark even though there's a huge window at the top of them. This should make a huge difference hopefully.

I Can't wait to get carpets down etc. Still a long way from that though unfortunately.
