    Also if your cutting the lip back to the welds use a thin disc or the heat from the cut will blister the paint

    What state are your arches in anyway? if they are originals on anything but a low miler theres a good chance theres rust or filler lurking in there, which will make things difficult.

    if you have a good solid car i would leave them alone and change your wheels. i have a set of 15inch compomotive rims and my nova sits quite low with out touching the rear aches. you may regret messing about with it,once you cut or bend you carnt go back!!!
