    Phonebook trick ftw

On a Nova the shape of the rear arch will be difficult with a roller, hammer and dolly but chances are it'll need paint. Grinder to take the lip back is a paintless approach but weakens it if you don't leave any lip.

That'll be fine. The inner and outer arch lips are spot welded all the way round, so assuming you don't go past the spot welds it should hold together. Go too far and the inner will no longer be attached to the outer and cause you problems.

I seen a guy do this before and you wanna make sure your arch is solid. There's a video floating about of a guy tooling with a bat and his hole arch falls off .
