Vauxhall Nova GTE Unfinished project Track car or convert back
Hi Guys,
Ive decided to sell my GTE. I have a baby on the way in the next few weeks and don't think i will get the time to do what i want on it and have another project in the pipeline. The car is approx 40% finished to my spec, this would be a very easy winter project as the shell has been painted and is just a plan of bolting all the bits on.
Shell
Genuine GTE Shell all welding has been done as far as i can see and has been waxoiled black at some point.
New rear archs
Shell has been professionally painted in glacier white 3 tiny rust bubbles on drivers door some very small marks here and there. Full cage just been powder coated. All footings for the cage have been welded in. Front seat rails are welded in for bucket seats. The shell has been turreted on the rear. Front bumper will need a small repair where it looks like its been pushed onto a tow bar in storage. There is a dink in the bonnet where some idiot has put a too long bolt in the mounting hole. Dont let this put you off though its a great looking car!
Engine
E16se 1600 fully rebuilt by Philip Nichols Fitted with Kent comnpetition KV30 Camshaft, Piper Vernier pully Engine not timed yet no cambelt fitted) Kent valve springs, ARP Rod bolts. New mains, rings, big ends, head gasket, sump gasket rocker gasket etc etc
Webber twin 40s with throttle cable, linkage, x2 manfolds, alt lowering bracket
Powder coated Rocker cover and brand new oil cap
4-1 manifold
mongoose exhaust system
Brand new facet red top fuel pump and filter king
GSI Radiator and Slimline fan
Suspension/Driveline
Avo Coilovers all round just been repainted
Powder coated engine mounts
Solid Gearbox mounts
Powdercoated Driveshafts with brand new Shaftec Cv Boots
Powdercoated bottom arms, tie rods and tie rod mounts
Polybushed and strengthened Bottom arms
Polybushed Tie rods
Polybushed steering rack mounts
Brand new TREs
Brand new lower ball joints - (not yet fitted)
Corsa Epas steering rack conversion
Corsa Epas steering column (not fitted)

Brand new Goodrich Braided hoses all round
Brand new copper brake lines ( Apart from the small one to the NSF is missing and the front to rears need fitting but are supplied)

Brand new oil pressure sender for clocks

Seats/Harness, Dizzy, Dizzy loom, fuel lines - possibly more but im building in stages

Not alot of pics of bodywork but its the same as the link above just under a cover in my garage. Basically all is there to get it on the road as far as i know would be better to call me and have a chat or ask questions.
£2000 firm as it owes me more than that. Future classic and will be a real head turner.
