Hi all on this forum.. I am having difficulty communicating with Phil and its obvious he is ignoring all my messages which i send him.
He had my car last june to rebuild the engine and i got it back in january this year. The work he has done is not what we agreed and he is not willing to put things right either. Full of excuses all the time. He told me he would fit an XE cam for the inlet he has not done and he also lost the fitting kit for the fuel pump which i had delivered to his unit and did not fit it either. He still has my standard KKK he keeps saying he will post it but not received anything yet. The receipt for the work done is in the post and never got it either. He told me would get me pictures of the build as he was doing it and never got any, just a picture if engine back in the car, who knows what the internal bit are.
How he can trade as Flintshire Performance Engines i dont know!!
Is anybody else having difficulty with Phil at the moment?

That was my engine!!

I won't even go into the list of problems that we've found with the engine he was "building" me, I pulled the plug on him and got all the parts from him.

The 5th bearing cap is from a completely different engine, the brand new Pistons aren't brand new, the brand new con steel con rods all have different weights, the crank that was supposedly polished had rust spots on it, the brand new bearing shells were scratched and damaged..... Need I go on.

We've had to scrap the block and use another and I don't trust the Pistons so I'm replacing those aswell.

Having anything to do with that c*nt is one of the biggests regrets of my life. He's a complete and utter tosser, who takes people's money and lives off apparent reputation from engines he supposedly built years ago.

I tried desperately to warn people not to trust or use him but I was repeatedly belittled and told "he's busy" and "give him a break he's not ripping anyone off" or "he built my engine 3 years ago and was absolutely brilliant".

I'm sorry for what's happened to you mate. All I can say is, go and get as much of your stuff as you can off him and sort it yourself.

Trading standards, HMRC for undeclared income, police for theft, he needs reporting.

This guy is a joke and needs to be stopped from ripping off people, guys put their faith and trust in them and he just pockets the money and they get nothing.
