Default PCD adapters Pros and Cons?

Looking to convert from 4x100 to 5x110 but dont actually know what the pcd adapters are like. Are they safe? Can they handle the stress? Its only going on a nova saloon with a tuned 1400 and womt be having loads of power going through it! Just want to know peoples views? Are they worth getting? Or is there any other way converting my nova to 5 stud?

Providing the bolts are suitably tated there should be no issues. However you should consider your offset as the turning centre will be changed with the addition of the adapter.

What is your main drive for changing to 5 stud?

I'd have thought cornering would put more strain on pcd adapters than power delivery?
