'Normal springs' are held in by the damper having less travel than what is needed to remove the spring. Its got bothing to do with friction

Seriously, are you 100% certain there isn't some sort of blockage or restriction at the fuel tank end?

I told the mechanic to check everything and to change everything out.

Don't know of many, honestly. This is the second time I've taken it to him, but since the last fix, I have done close to 200 miles on it with no problems. Now it just started again.

And the cursed Nova strikes again. Got the car back from the mechanic yesterday, aaaand it stopped twice today.

I called him and he told me to fill up the tank to the brim and see how that goes.

Question. Did a 1.2 Nova have fuel injection or carbs? Did it also have a pump in the tank or in the engine bay? Because I still have the standard petrol tank, instead of a proper diesel one.
