Default Fastest hairdresser in the west build

    As i posted previously in this thread http://www.pngclub.com/forum/showthr...not-a-nova-but i got my hands on a 1.8 mk1 mx5

ive decided against putting the MX250 kit on it, mainly due to realising how much it will cost and not really being able to justify that.

This weekend i managed to oik out the 1.8 and box, which was reasonably easy.

The LET will fit with a bit of fiddling. The ARB is in the way so that will come off, the sump is already the right way round for the subframe which is a massive help, but the dizzy is in the way of the bulkhead so ive got the choice of either cutting the bulkhead out which id rather not, or converting it to a coilpack setup. Ive got Manta 1.8 mounts, just need to work out what to used between them and the subframe. solid aluminium mounts would probably be easiest as i know people who could machine them up for me

the aircon pump needs to come off as well.

    Engine out

    Trial fit for the LET

Should be a good build this! Awesome little cars just so unbelievably slow in standard form . Be nice to see something a bit different rather than the usual sr20 or 13b swap.

Something different, should be good...I like the standard alloys, hope you keep them on

    What gearbox/clutch are you using?

Should be a hoot LET powered. MX250 kit looks badass I've always liked it but never seen one (knowingly) in the flesh, shame it works out so expensive.

This is interesting as I'm trying to find people with this block conversion as I'm trying to find as much info as I can abut the c20 swap

Will probably be an omega r28 box. Straight fit I've read, just need a flywheel spacer which is £50

I think I'm gonna need some wider rears haha
