    Default c16se piston specs?

Im trying to find out the size of the gudgeon pin from a c16se and also the height from the gudgeon pin to the top of the piston. i know this will be a long shot but has anyone put a c16se piston onto a 1300 rod?

They are 18mm. I'll dig out the piston spec off my pc later.

Thats interesting reading for me as have a 16SV engine here.

I assumed the bottom end was different to the E16SE but if the pistons are the same, then it must just be some head changes plus the injection system that takes it from 82 to 100bhp.

Just looked up valve sizes and theyre the same as the E16SE too.

You can never accuse gm of putting in unique parts for the sake of it.

a 1300 rod is 20mm gudgeon, so wont fit.

    consider wiseco suzuki dr350se pistons 79mm, 20mm gudgeon/wristpin.
    or
Toyota avensis 79mm, 20mm wristpin - need to machine crown as its a terrible design.

79mm wth 20mm gudgeons are uncommon. Mazda B5 guys have been looking for them for ages.

Consider 78.3mm Mahle with 20mm gudgeons- i have a source for those.

To be honest, any decent machinist should be able to open out the gudgeon pin holes to 20mm.... as long as you can find one brave enough
