Thats going to need a fair bit of work.

A good Diff and equal length shaft setup will sort the pulling to the left, or at least minimise it loads. Things like alloy top mounds, power flex and rose joints all contribute towards making it drive straight.

Good luck with the build, and if you need anything just shout.

I had a good poke around her today and by the looks of it she needs a rear panel, two arch repair panels, boot corners platted and the end of the chassis legs sorted. All the rust and bother is to the back so it isnt too bad. The last idiot basically paint the black waxoyl everywhere which caused it to condensate under it and hence the rust.

Plans as of today get body fixed and sprayed, the car set up. All the other small bits can follow suit.

Cheers for the support and comments.

The shell has been fully powerflexed Keith so one thing off the list. I think equal length shafts are a must and a diff.

How do you tell the difference between equal length and normal?

Any preferences? Who sells equal length shafts?

    Chris

Equal length shaft replaces your long driveshaft with two smaller ones. One runs on a bearing which is within a bracket attached to the rear of your engine, and then there is an outer shaft.

Chris astley motorsport should be able to sort you out with the outer short shaft, and the inner with bracket/bearing will come off a calibra or cavalier.

Really??? After all the people he's screwed over... I'd go LMF or David dixon on here or such.

I have to say I agree with Benn, he screwed me over by sending me the wrong make of rad before so I will be buying off LMF or David Dixon.

Thanks for the info Keith, does David still sell stuff as I also need an engine drivers side mount as the engine is sitting too high and the bonnet was cut.

Also looking into getting the AFM pipe a bit more hidden but it seems like a very tight squeeze with the rad pipe. Does it go under or over that?

    Thanks Chris

Your inlet pipe will go under the water pipe. You have to modify the inlet of the turbo by cutting and welding it at a better angle.

I have an almost new Airflow Meter (Bosch), Dizzy, Coil for sale (all less than 3 years old and MINT) - if you need anything.
