Angry 1.0 to 1.4 Conversion: Ignition problems PLEASE HELP!

    Hi guys,
at the weekend I dropped a 1.4 carb (14NV) into my 1.0 nova.. It's turning over fine but I can't get a spark from the coil.. I've been trying to figure out the wiring for it but can't get it working!

There's one green and one black wire coming from the loom, and there's a 2 pin connector at the dizzy. Does anyone know the problem or how to get it going? I've checked the fuses and they're all fine.

    Thanks in advance
    Joe

replace the black wire with one direct from the ign switch. the 1.0 one has a built in resistor.

Spoke too soon! I'm being told I need a 7-pin ignition module for it to work. Is that true?

Thanks Stuart! I've now sourced a module but still having issues, we can create a spark from the coil if using a permanent earth (as a test) but no spark when everythings plugged in. Does this indicate a faulty pulse earth in the dizzy? All I can think of is trying a new dizzy now...
