    Default rear damper help please...

    can anyone help here, can i buy a rear damper that locks out, ie makes the whole thing tite, with hardly no travel, ive seen some gaz items but wonder if they are any good, need to be stiff to clear the arches with my new wheels on the back, any ideas???...

    They would be mega hard... As in the ride would be shocking. Cant you just stiffen yours right up?

    what would be mega hard? not worried about the ride, and ive just got billys on the back and they are not hard enough, any recommendations?

    As in if they barely move they'll give a mega hard ride..

    I use Gaz, They could be spec'd hard and if you use coilover you can set them so they are right where the tyre would rub.

    merris, order some really high lb rate springs.

    As said - its the springs that make it hard - not the damper..

    Just get some 400lb+ springs - they will be solid!

    Replace the damper with scaff bar.....
