    Default rear disk brake pressure

Hi guys just wanting to know what way to reduce the pressure goin to the rear brakes I know I can put in a couple of bias valves but also heard about people using mk3 astra rear hoses as they have a reducer built in. Any help would be great thanks

I use the ones fitted to a Gsi m/c. But i run a single brake line to the rear to give a better pedal.

Only ever locked one wheel up then i broke hard for a corner cause i wasn't watching what i was doing.

Another trick is to cut down the rear brake pads to reduce the pad contact area.
Proper way obviously is to reduce the bias/pressure in the rear hydraulic fluid.

Yes, the screw it bits are the valves. If not look at aftermarket vales (Wilwood and such make them)

Ah, having looked for you, you can by these..

I'm unsure on what pressures you'd need tho.

I was talking of these at first..

All Novas had rear drums, so no a std MC wont be right for 16v Astra GTE discs.

You can only use a Nova MC. That's all that fits. Well a Early Cav ones fits. But you'll need all new brakes lines.

I use a std Nova gsi MC, i only run one line to the rear tho. But it works fit.

There isnt one, you just fit discs & drive accordingly. Best to keep the drums then ;-)
